Rizal is now declared as Conflict Manageable and For Further Development Ready Province

Rizal is now declared as Conflict Manageable and For Further Development Ready Province

CAMP GEN MATEO CAPINPIN, Tanay, Rizal –Pursuant to the signed Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) Resolution, the Province of Rizal was declared as conflict manageable and for further development ready province effective June 4, 2015. A formal ceremony attended by PPOC members and other stakeholders was held at the Ynares Hall, Rizal Provincial Government Compound, San Roque, Antipolo City on June 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm with MGen Ricardo R Visaya AFP, Commander, SOLCOM, MGen Romeo G Gan AFP, Commander, 2ID PA and Hon Rebecca A Ynares, Governor of Rizal as the Guests of Honor and Speakers. On the said resolution attested by Hon. Frisco S. San Juan Jr, Presiding Officer, it was stated that CNN has a weak and unstable organizational structure due to the decrease of their strength and capability to conduct tactical operation and violent atrocities. During the program, MGen Visaya expressed his deepest gratitude to all government officials, security sectors, other stakeholders, and to the residents of Rizal for continuously advocating peace and development within the province. Meanwhile, on her message, Gov Ynares thanked all the stakeholders of its concerted effort and collaboration of making the province as insurgency-free and with peaceful communities. Likewise, with the normalization of peace and security, she expressed her confidence that the province will be more progressive as more investments will come. More so, the Philippine Army as represented by 80th Infantry (Steadfast) Battalion, 2ID, has pledged to support the programs for anti-insurgency and disaster relief and rescue management efforts of the Provincial Government.
